Where is Shuja Express?
At 84 Place Laurent Bonnevay, 69400 Villefranche-sur-Saône (Belleroche area), in the Rhône. Drop-off and pick-up are by appointment: call or message before coming. We also accept devices from anywhere in France by post.
How long does a repair take?
Diagnosis is done within 24 business hours of receiving the device. You then get a quote; the repair starts as soon as you approve it, usually the same day when the part is in stock.
Do you charge for the diagnosis?
No, the diagnosis is free, even if you decline the quote. And if we can’t fix your device, you pay nothing: no fix, no fee. For mail-in repairs, only the return shipping is at your expense.
Are repairs guaranteed?
Yes: every repair comes with a 6-month warranty on parts and labour. If the same fault comes back, we take the device back free of charge.
Is a quote required?
Yes: nothing is repaired without your approval. For fixed-price repairs (HDMI port at €69, PS5 controller stick at €29) the price is already known; the quote simply confirms that’s the fault.
Can I send my console by post?
Yes. Contact us first to describe the fault, then send the device well packed by tracked parcel (Colissimo). Diagnosis is done within 24 business hours of receipt and the device is sent back after the repair.
What devices do you repair?
PS5, Xbox Series X and S and Nintendo Switch consoles, their controllers (DualSense, Xbox, Joy-Con), phone screens, TVs (black screen, backlight), laptops and other electronic devices on request, with micro-soldering and component replacement.
Do you speak English?
Yes, you can contact us in English or French.
Which towns do you cover?
Villefranche-sur-Saône, Gleizé, Limas, Arnas, Anse, Jassans-Riottier, Trévoux, Belleville-en-Beaujolais, Saint-Georges-de-Reneins and the whole Beaujolais and Val de Saône area, up to north Lyon. The rest of France is covered by post.
PS5 repair
How much does a PS5 HDMI port replacement cost?
€69, parts and labour included, for the PS5 standard, Digital, Slim and Pro. If the diagnosis shows a different fault (the HDMI chip, for example), you get a quote before any work.
My PS5 says “No signal”: is it always the HDMI port?
Not always. First try another HDMI cable and another TV input. If the screen stays black while the console turns on, the HDMI port or chip is usually the cause. The diagnosis, done within 24 business hours of receipt, confirms it.
How much does PS5 controller drift repair cost?
€29 for one stick, €45 for both. The worn stick module is desoldered and replaced with a new one.
Will I lose my games and saves?
No. Replacing the HDMI port doesn’t touch the console’s storage. To be safe, turn on PS Plus cloud saves or copy your saves to a USB stick if you can.
Controller repair (stick drift)
Can drift be fixed without replacing the stick?
Cleaning or recalibrating can reduce drift for a few days, but the wear remains. Replacing the stick module is the only lasting repair.
How long does a controller repair take?
Diagnosis is done within 24 business hours of receipt. The repair follows as soon as you accept the quote, usually the same day if the part is in stock.
Do you repair Xbox controllers and Joy-Cons?
Yes: €29 per Xbox controller stick (€45 for both), €25 per Joy-Con (€45 the pair). Buttons, triggers and the Pro Controller are repaired on quote.

How much does an Xbox Series X HDMI port replacement cost?
€69, parts and labour included, for both the Xbox Series X and Series S.
My Xbox shows nothing: what should I check before sending it?
Try another HDMI cable, another TV input, and make sure the TV isn’t on standby. If the console powers on (light and start-up sound) with no picture, the HDMI port or chip is usually the cause.
Nintendo Switch repair
My Switch won’t charge: can it be fixed?
Usually, yes. The cause is either the USB-C port (€69) or the charging chip (from €79). The diagnosis, free and done within 24 business hours of receipt, finds the part before any work.
Do you repair the Switch Lite, whose sticks are built in?
Yes. On the Switch Lite the sticks are part of the console: it has to be opened to replace them.
Phone screen replacement
How much does a phone screen replacement cost?
From €59 for an iPhone X, XS or 11, €79 for an iPhone 12, €89 for an iPhone 13, €99 for a 14 and €119 for a 15, with a compatible screen. Send the exact make and model for a precise quote.
Will I keep my data?
Replacing the screen doesn’t wipe the phone. Still, back it up before the repair if you can.
TV repair (black screen, backlight)
My TV has sound but a black screen: can it be fixed?
Very often, yes: it’s usually the LED backlight, which can be replaced. Try the torch test: if the picture shows through, the panel works.
Can a cracked panel be repaired?
No. A cracked panel can’t be repaired, and replacing it usually costs almost as much as a new TV. We’ll tell you honestly at diagnosis.
Laptop repair
Do you repair devices that aren’t listed?
Yes, on request. Describe the device and the fault: we’ll tell you whether it can be repaired and you’ll get a quote before any work.
Micro-soldering and component replacement
Another repairer told me to replace the motherboard: can you fix it?
