How the repair works
As on the PS5, the HDMI port of the Xbox Series X and S is soldered to the motherboard. A yanked cable, a dropped console or bent pins and the picture disappears, even though the console powers on normally.
We replace the port by micro-soldering, check the HDMI chip and test picture and sound before handing the console back. If the fault is elsewhere, you’ll know at diagnosis and decide with a quote in hand.

My Xbox shows nothing: what should I check before sending it?
Try another HDMI cable, another TV input, and make sure the TV isn’t on standby. If the console powers on (light and start-up sound) with no picture, the HDMI port or chip is usually the cause.
