How the repair works
The Switch is a handheld: it gets dropped, travels and charges several times a day. The most common faults are Joy-Con drift, a cracked screen or glass, and a USB-C charging port that stops working.
When the console won’t charge or turn on, the port isn’t always to blame: the charging chip may have failed, often after using an unofficial charger or dock. Micro-soldering replaces the faulty component without changing the motherboard.

My Switch won’t charge: can it be fixed?
Usually, yes. The cause is either the USB-C port (€69) or the charging chip (from €79). The diagnosis, free and done within 24 business hours of receipt, finds the part before any work.
Do you repair the Switch Lite, whose sticks are built in?
Yes. On the Switch Lite the sticks are part of the console: it has to be opened to replace them.
